Our own Elder James L. Cook, II has been elevated to Co-Pastor by the Senior Pastor Elder Victor. Elder Jones is currently on assignmenwt in Kosovo, Europe

In this most Holiest of months, August 8, 2011, we are so excited here at Greater Philadelphia Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. because one of our very own ministers has been marvelously blessed to be going before the ordination board to be ordained as an elder of the Northeast diocese were the Bishop P. A. Brooks is the first asssistant to the National bishop, Bishop Blake. This is taking place during the 97th Holy convocation in Saginaw, MI. and also in Detroit at he Cathedral conference center
Minister James L. Cook, II has been a dedicated minister in the absence of our pastor Elder Victor Jones as he serves our country on military duty.
Minister Cook is also the coodinator for the men at GPT and is also preparing for the annual mens day service to be held Sunday September 18, 2011 where the Supt Ronald K. Benson will be our guest pastor for this anointed service. Service begins @ 4:00pm and dinner is at 2:00pm.

The month of May 2011
Our third Sunday service is fast approaching and we are looking towards having an anointing service. Our own Minister James L. Cook, II is attending Bible college preparing for the ordination board to become a licensed ordained Elder in the Northeast diocese, C.O.G.I.C. where the First Assistant Bishop P A. Brooks is the presiding Bishop.
Month of March/April 2011
The Lord Jesus is still in the Blessing business. His has sent GPT another faithful saved couple and added to the men and women's department. Elder Emmet and Carolyn Goodspeed are a welcome increase to the church of brotherly love. Elder Goodspeed spoke on last Sunday and used the communication network to invite people to church. He did a mass texting to invite people to church. He had two out of town guest. An elder from Las Vegas who flew in and another who drove from Chicago for the service.
Elder Goodspeed had a total of twenty guest which included family and friends.
Texting was used for the soul purpose to invite people to hear the word of the Lord. The Theme was "Jesus, we need a wake up call" Romans 13: 11-12
Website views come to the church where the table is spread and the feast of the Lord is going on.

The Lord Jesus is still in the blessing business. He is healing the sick, blessing the finances and we are yet winning the war on sin.
Sunday November 21, 2010 we will be celebrating our pastor in an appreciation service at 3:30pm. The theme for this appreciation is ; "There is Victory in Thanksgiving" The guest pastor will be Elder Earl Blevins the pastor of Overcoming Faith Ministries C.O.G.I.C. and congregation. Also the GPT men have a guest speaker for our 11:00am service, Elder Goodspeed of Second Aberneezer Baptist Church. The theme for the 11:00am service is "I can do all things in Christ" Sub topic: I am in the yes club. Philippians 4:10-13.

Evang Lynette Mann
September 19, 2010 the men's department of GPT Celebrated the 40th year celebration of the Anniversary of the church. The guest speaker was Evang Lynette Mann. Evang Mann was the former organist for the church. She took the church way back to its humble beginnings with the choir. Her devoted husband Brother Hubert Mann was our guitarist on that Sunday and together they brought the church house down, in the old time way.
June 20, 2010 which is Father's Day is also our monthly mens day service. Pastor Victor Jones will be delivering the sermon on that day. Come and join the GPT men who love the Lord.
The Greater Philadelphia Tabernacle Church family and the Department of Men is vastly growing by the grace of our Lord Jesus. There has been a new minister added; Minister James L. Cook and Elder Phillip Glymph has joined as an associate Elder and Elder Robert Hayes is the Co Pastor. The Lord Jesus has marvelously blessed Greater Philadelphia.
Greater Philadelphia Tabernacle has a new musician in the name of Brother Jason Stewart. Brother Jason is a young and innovative musician, who brings news renditions of the old and new gospel music.
