Month of September 2011
I have returned from duty and will be home for a undetermined time. While I was on duty in Texas in my free time I attended a church of God in Christ. Supt Jones allowed me and afforded me the opportunity to participate in their service of the Lord.
I preached, lead prayer and even beat the drums for them. It was nothing but the Lord that lead me to this church. Truly God is everywhere. I came home to my church where the service of the Lord was going on. Souls have been saved and the name of the Lord was and is still being "Lifted Up".

Month of May 2011
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and especially the mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If it were not for Mother Mary giving birth to our Savior where would we be?
The pastor is yet on military assignment this month. He wil be home for Mothers Day weekend. We know that he has a testimony for the congregation. Continue to pray for our shepherd as he makes these assignment.

The Blessings of the Lord Jesus be upon you. As you can see the Lord Jesus is soon to come we are already to end the first quarter of this year. Easter is fast approaching which signifies our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ death, burial and resurrection to the religious community. The Pastor is yet on military assignment, and GPT are yet carrying on the service of the Lord. Our Co-Pastor Elder Robert Hayes is standing in the ranks as needed keeping the legacy of the Late Admin. Asst. Samuel L. Jones going. Elder Victor Jones has a 3 fold ministry first to God, second to man and third to his country. His is young and strong and God can surely keep him in his will. Continue to pray for Elder Jones as he does what the Lord has mapped out for his life.

Sunday November the 21, is our Pastors 2nd appreciation. The theme for this year is "Victory in Thanksgiving" Elder Earl Blevins pastor of Overcoming Faith Mininstry and congregation will be the guest speaker @ 3:30pm. Dinner will be served @ 2:00pm. Month of October for 2010:
We have been waging a war against sin and the devil but the Lord Jesus has brought us this far these 10 months. Thank God for His grace and mercy towards His people. Protecting us from hurt, harm and danger.
Our pastors Appreciation is fast approaching on Sunday November 21, 2010. The guest pastor is Elder Earl Blevins of Overcoming Faith Outreach Ministries and his congregation.

July 11, 2010
This the 40th anniversary of the founding of Greater Philadelphia Tabernacle Church of God in Christ. We have been celebrating the entire year of 2010. The official celebration is Sunday August 2010. We are carrying on the legacy of our founder Administrative Assistant Samuel L. Jones. Our next celebration service will be our Annual Womens Day Sunday July 25, 2010. The guest speaker will be Evang. Miss'y Juanita Benson. The service will begin @ 4:00pm. Come and join in with the singing, praying and dancing.
June 13, 2010:
The Lord Jesus has marvelously blessed our services at GPT. During the month of May a total of (16) new souls were added to the membership. Through the work of discipleship of the members, inviting people in from the community and canvasing the neighborhoods, people are hearing the preached word of the Lord Jesus. GPT has scheduled a baptismal service on Sunday June 27, 2010 @ 4:00pm. Dinner will be served after the morning service. This will be a glorious day for the saints of the Lord, to see the results of their labor in the vineyard.
God's Grace Ministries where the pastor is the Rev. Carl Graham will be the guest church. Pastor Victor Jones and Minister James L. Cook II will do the the baptising. All are welcome to these anointed services.

Greater Philadelphia had a Year end revival in 2009. We thanked God and gave Him the praise and glory for all He had done for us. Our services have been anointed with the presence of the Lord.
The Lord has blessed us with a Co Pastor Elder Hayes and just recently an associated Elder Phillip Glymph.
Minister James L. Cook has announced his calling to the ministry. We had families to profess salvation and old members to be reclaimed.
Elder Victor Jones Pastor Jones is building on a new spiritual foundation and ready to build the spiritual house of the Lord. He is building his calendar of events for 2010 and has begun to make and take appointments.
The theme for this year is "We are Waging War against the Devil in 2010 and We're going to win"
